When you don’t have strategies, you suffer tragedies. Winning in life takes strategies. One of the worst plagues of life is for one not to know what next to do. When you know what to do, you don’t remain on the same spot. You cannot get out of life what you have not put into it. There are relevant activities that initiate progress. You cannot make it in life just because you are liked by people. Much more, you must engage progressive steps if you must go forward in life. Joshua 1:8 says, This Book of the Law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. So, it is not just what you know that guarantees your success.
What you do with what you know is of equal importance, because that is what makes your way prosperous. Knowledge imparts power for progress, but it takes strategic steps to make it a reality. In prayer, there are material things we do seek from God and of course, such things abound with Him, which He is ever willing to give freely to His children (Romans 8:32), but far beyond the material things we receive from Him is the experience He wants His children to encounter in His presence.
In essence, the things that happens to us in prayer sessions are more vital and valuable that the material things we receive from God in prayer. Material things are spendable but what we imbibe in His presence becomes permanently our personal treasures which we can reflect to our world. Our experiences with God in prayers turn us into wonders in the eye of the world.
Ministry is the highest form of calling. No other kind of work in life compares with it. The high esteem that goes with it demands that utmost attention be given in order to be able to prove its excellent worth to the society. No field or career can be more respected than the worth attached to it. We have a duty to present, protect and preserve the worth of ministry in our generation. How long we stand the challenges of our times is a function of how well we lay our foundation for ministry.
It is my observation that every man designs and determines the measure of grace and anointing he receives for fulfilling his calling. Each man‟s results is traceable to his training.
