When Christianity is void of the use of the mind, it becomes stupidity. The reason some Christians are held down in defeat is because they do not engage their minds in working out a way of escape for themselves. For instance, you cannot expect to progress on your job if you do it absent mindedly or work routinely like a robot, without seeking ways of improving on it. But when a man is mentally involved in his endeavours, he will always come up with innovative ways of improving onthem. Even the Bible leaves each man with the responsibility of working out his own salvation with fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12).
